student orientation
The Human Resources Department believes that success has to first begin with oneself. Without realizing your strengths and weaknesses, training would be disorganized and futile. Hence the HRD begins with helping students first understand their own selves with respect to career needs. Based on this, further training is carried out to enhance the recognized skills and capabilities and help students cope with their weaknesses.
To accomplish this task, students are put through a series of aptitude, psychometric, technical and communication tests. In addition, the HRD provides counseling in order to help students recognize their strengths and work towards developing them. Counseling sessions are also beneficial to help students deal with their weaknesses in an effective manner.
The HRD is involved to the extent of maintaining detailed profile records of its students, which identifies their strengths and weaknesses. These profile records are beneficial to recognize the suitability of students to specific job profiles that industry clients require. Furthermore it provides career guidance to students through counseling and seminars.
Student orientation is an effort to generate quality engineers who will be passionate as well as dedicated to their jobs.
