The Department of Basic Sciences at HKBKCE is geared to provide a strong foundation of the subject so students from all branches of Engineering can perform better in their chosen areas of study.

Engineering Physics

The Department of Engineering is one of the basic sciences departments imparting both theory and practical coaching to the students of 1st year BE. Keeping this is view the Department of Engineering Physics renovates its teaching style to suit the needs of the students as well as to the changing scenario. As per the calender of events the department plans and complete the syllabus well in time. Individual attention has been given to each student, special measures are designed to improve their performance. This gives lot of confidence to the students in giving off their best in the University examination.

Department has well educated and dedicated staff members. To keep pace with the changing scenario, staff members keep their knowledge by attending seminars and conferences. Research papers have been published in the national and international journals by the staff members. Currently one of the staff member is actively involved in research work for pursuing Ph.D.

Engineering Chemistry

The Department of Engineering Chemistry is dedicated to providing its students with an in-depth knowledge of the subject which forms the backbone for many Engineering disciplines. It has to its credit a well-equipped laboratory for the benefit of the students and staff. The faculty is highly qualified and is actively involved in various research activities.

Engineering Mathematics

The foundation for any Engineering discipline, the syllabus for Engineering Mathematics is designed to not only provide basic education but to also help students understand the significance of application and logical thinking. The faculty of Engineering Mathematics includes some of the brilliant minds in the field and help students develop a passion for numbers and logic. Faculty members provide special attention and extra coaching to those who require it.
