At HKBK College of Engineering, we lay high emphasis on discipline. Self-discipline is a prerequisite for confidence and success in the competitive workplace. With this view, the institute insists that students maintain and uphold the discipline of the college so as to provide a scholastic atmosphere for self development.

The Institute aims to generate graduates and engineers who will be leaders and disciplined citizens of the country, leading it towards progress. To accomplish this goal, all departments especially the HR Department endeavors to inculcate the principles of discipline and dedication in our students.

The HKBK College of Engineering requires students and teachers alike to maintain a certain discipline in the campus. The faculty and students share a good rapport which is facilitated by the low student-to-faculty ratio. But the faculty also ensures that discipline reigns within the departments and among their students.

Students are discouraged from indulging in unsuitable and/or antisocial activities that may interfere with their academics. As an alternative, the college provides platforms for self expression through co-curricular activities. Students are strictly prohibited from causing indiscipline within the campus and ragging or harassing other students in any form.

Students' attendance and behaviour is monitored; continuous absence from classes or indulgence in activities that interfere with academics will be reported to parents or guardians.

Apart from discipline, certain rules and regulations must be adhered to, in order to maintain order within the campus.

  • Students have to wear the uniform prescribed by the college in the workshops and laboratories.
  • Students must carry their Identity cards (issued on admission) at all times and produce it on demand. The ID card will also be required to access the library.
  • Students are advised to utilize their study plan booklet (provided on admission) which will serve as a time management tool and aid them in accessing resources and facilities.
