HKBK Alumni Meet July 2008
With 107 participants marked a historic move towards building a stronger & closely knit HKBK family.
It was a colourful gathering and as in any other alumni meet within minutes the memories of those cherishable past was refreshed & all those memorable moments remembered. Whether it was bunking classes, celebration, events, exciting trips, the nostalgic memories was all discussed, laughed about & cherished.
The participants were from 2006, 2007 & 2008 batch. Alankrita and Susheel took to the stage to compere the event. Needless to say, Amitha, Ranjith, Akshay, Kiran, Shazma, Sadma, Saadia and Danish were working behind the scenes. Mrs.Marlyn Mathew facilitated the event from planning till its successful completion.
Each ALUMNI were WELCOMED HOME with a rose to symbolize the love for the then students by the Management. The program began with an invocation by Danish, a student from the MBA Department. The dignitaries who graced the occasion with their presence were our beloved Administrator, the Dean MBA and the Heads of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and the Placement cell. After welcoming them, they were each requested to address the expectant gathering. They shared nostalgic memories and respectively emphasized upon the need to have frequent meets for working closely with the College. Dr. Powly Thomas (HOD EEE) actually spelled out these words in her very short and beautiful message. ?Wherever you go, you have to come back to your Mother?s House?. Various functions and events marked the day. The atmosphere of college life was slowly being recreated. The ALUMNI themselves were then requested to take to the stage and share anecdotes from college life or their experiences after leaving their alma mater.
This was followed by the election for office bearers, within the alumni to carry forward this tradition of alumni meets.

The meeting concluded with the requisite vote of thanks by Susheel who made it a point to mention every member who put his / her heart and soul into making this event a success. This was followed by a sumptuous lunch which enabled the alumni to mingle freely.
Management sincerely hopes that that this association becomes a forum for the interaction of the graduates of this institution, a fountain of wisdom for the current students.
